Re: General Tips for Improving Roleplay

Of course you guy know I support this post fully. I am finding myself becoming bored with the server lately, but the truth is.. the server is what we make of it, and roleplaying is the key here. Where scripting ends, our ability to roleplay and create a virtual environment begins. The server is only...

I think he means.. if a hitman tries to kill him and fails to do so multiple times.. that eventually the contract is dropped. The hitman failed their job.

Re: Arms Dealer explosive inventory addition

Instead of grenades, or the real remote detonation bomb. How about you forget the grenades, and script the remote detonator to spawn in grenades that are about to explode near the area that you did a/placebomb at. It will create an explosion that will actually work server-side, and it isn't spammabl...

Re: "Here buddy, I have a spare gun for ya"

The only concern is factions like LSPD, FBI and hitmen who have access to special weapons like deagles, sniper rifles and knives would be able to hand them off to people unless you could specifically code them to not be able to. Not to mention law enforcement doesnt pay for their weapons so it woul...

Re: Newbie City

How about the admins make the main server password protected, and have a second server without a password for newbies to play on and and if they pass the requirements to play on regular SZR then give them the password. At least with a password if it were compromised it would take a few seconds to ch...

Re: Newbie City

Is it possible to block any transactions from occuring between people in the "newb deathmatch city" and the "realcity"... if so itd be perfect. I'd imagine it would be a matter of tying in a variable where newplayer = 0 or 1 .. where 1 would mean yes, and 0 would mean no. Of cou...

Re: Newbie City

I seriously don't think this would make Los Santos a ghost town. What it would do would weed out the bullshit players that we have to deal with, and make the admin jobs a little easier. The worst it would do is.. well I can't think of a bad alternative to this, it seems like an awesome idea. Hackers...

Garbage Collection

As some of you know, I strongly support the idea of adding regular non-criminal jobs for people who roleplay normal (kinda normal) law abidding citizens. Here is another job idea I'd like to inject: Garbage Collector Basically, this job would work similar to fishing. The player would be required to ...

Gas as a commodity

Let's face it, people can type /refill a unlimited amount of times and with no consequence, gas stations have an unlimited amount of gas. Anyone can pay at the pump to get a refill. Why not add a game mechanic to fix this and make people give their gas % more than a passing glance and a /refill. And...

Seriously, if taxi, pizza, and mail or medic or whatever were part-time jobs that a member of another faction could do, it would be fucking awesome. Civilian Jobs

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not huge on making criminal characters, with that said... I wish their were more jobs available that didn't require illegal activity. Right now, a player joins the server and is either stuck fishing, Car Jacking(illegal), selling weapons (illegal), selling dru...

Re: High Security Prison

It's a good idea, though with some of the terms you're outlining it's a little impossible. If executed with simple resolve, creating a world-within-a-world is possible (as far as I know). If there were any "gang" system, I think for it to work best there should be no system and have all t...
