I've seen negative paychecks. You don't just lose the money payed by those that are badly guarded, you get a penalty if you're bad at it. If the person you are guarding dies, you loose 2x the amount it cost to /guard them. But what if the bodyguard is too far from the guy he is supposed to protect ...

Not really possible, the server tracks cars too loosely. Thats why it looks like cars just appear out of nowhere most of the time. Also, there is no way to tell what part of the car is the trunk.
