Suggestions: superlevels and timestamps and /hand.

Firstly: timestamps on all chats and messages and such would be useful for determining how long 'till you can drop, repair, and so on.

And superlevels. Level 5 generally takes 200 /repairs, /finds, and so on.
Level 6 takes 500 - 1000, but once you reach level 6, you get the skills permanently.

So a level 6 merc can get the wheelman job or the arms dealer job, but also have the ability to find, but unless they have the merc job, the cooldown is 30 seconds or something. Encourages to level up, gives you skills, but still incentive to retain a job.

And a /hand <id> command which allows you to hand the weapon in your hand to a person near you. This will not count towards arm dealing and you can only do it if you own the weapon. This can be useful to make quick cash by pawning your gun, if your gang is attacked and there's no dealers around, and so on.


EDIT: I'd also like to see banning for logging to avoid /tie.

Oh my god, this is complicated!

From what I understand you are suggesting that once you reach Level 5 with each skill, that you can /find and /repair [etc.] at the same time? Whaa? What's the point of having these different jobs then?

No, once you reach level 6 which takes a lot more work, level 5 takes 200 /repairs, level six takes like, 1000.

Ok, except for leveling the jobs, what's the point of having a variety of jobs, which you can only quit every hour?

With the way socks fill up around here, it would only take ~4 hours for someone to reach level 6 merc. In 3 days someone could already have 3 skills up to level 6. The hardcore sockers would have all of them done by the end of the weekend.

If you want timestamps use a chronometer each time you dropcar.

As for /hand, judging by the szr population, someone would find a way to abuse it sooner or later. Probably sooner.

Actually, giving other players weapons is a pretty nice idea, and it's not hard to code.
