It isnt a half bad idea, but at the same time I agree and disagree in a sense. I mean yeah fair point to all the newbies who read the rules, still dm, yeah take a wad of cash off their ass. But to the newbies who genuinelly dont dm, work hrd, and then get kidnapped for instance, and lose 5k. 5k is a little steep, I mean $1000 is high enough as it is imo, so if its going to be raised at all, I say raise it to $2500 at the very most.

Theres already a harsh enough penalty for dieing with losing a tone of mats and or cash if over 15k, if you add this feature you might aswell make SZR a heavy RP server.

If you make dying more 'painful' and costly, then chickenrunning, logging to avoid death and quickreloading will dramatically increase.
The rule with the anything over $15000, 10g pot/crack and 5000 mats in total is good, people adapted to that, but charging 5k per death for, say, a gang member?
During a point battle, you can die up to five, six, seven + times, that's $35000 in deaths alone for one person, participating at a point. That's way more than the average paycheck and what the point returns you.
