I know quite a few people who try to use the taxi's as much as possible, for RP reasons, but the taxi's are not always, or often a viable option on the run. I was wondering if it would be possible to install a train? Have someone set to drive it stop to stop, picking up people and dropping them off. Another idea would be a bus route with pre-determined stops. You'd certainly have to make it so that no one but designated drivers could use the vehicles, but I think it'd be fantastic. Especially being able to use the various train stops like the subway.

Don't see much need for trains, as everyone is pretty much confined to Los Santos at the moment. Not to mention only one person can enter the train as a passenger. There are only two train stations in Los Santos. If you jog on the track a little ways, you can be at the other one in a minute or two.

And yes, I think the Taxi faction should have at least one bus.

Oh? I thought there were four train stations in LS. With two, yeah I guess it wouldn't really be worth the effort.

and also, driving a train would be kind of boring, i mean you dont even steer all you do is accelerate, stop, accelerate, stop etc

Buses don't crash the server. Having 20 people in one bus while an admin makes it fly around the skies of San Andreas at Mach 3 eventually crashes most of those 20 people. And trains are only broken if someone foolishly attempts to modify it with NOS.

More people would use taxis if there were more taxi drivers. As is, there's rarely a taxi driver on duty. If taxi was an invite only job that people could go on duty as, I, and a lot of other people, would do taxi. Currently, it's a fun job for an alt, or for Taj Salmonski.

Heres a suggestion to the newer cab drivers, get a fucking original taxi character. Taj, Corrado and Ari are the original clever foreign taxi drivers. Besides Big Hock and maybe Pogi, every cab driver these days seems to think as soon as they join the faction they need to start copying Taj. PIZDA HURRRRR it was funny two months ago

Also, to some taxi drivers out there, you complain that you never get any passengers... Well, actually taking your passenger where they want to go helps. I know it can be funny to tie them up or crash them into the ocean and be caaaraaaaazy, but the joke does get a little old.
