I've been chief since mid-October, so looks like a lot of you guys missed the memo.

Quick question: if everyone thinks the PD is shit, and people have seen so many cops doing so much horrible crap (see: the big list in vikki's second post), why do I never get complaints about it? I'm more than willing to act on legitimate, evidence supported claims of people being assholes with their PD powers, but the fact that nobody ever comes to me with this shit, preferring instead to make endless threads about how PD is awful and the chief is awful and everyone with a blue name sucks, means nothing ever changes.

No, no, and no, but thanks for the effort. Traffic cops give traffic tickets, which you may consider "dumb as heck", but is their duty and is in their job description, normal cops don't really exist anymore, and your statement about FBI cops is not true in my experience, nor have you backed it up with any evidence, or even a specific incidence (kinda like every other thing you wrote in any other post in here).

I could write a lot more, but the bottom line is: want idiot cops punished? Come to me with evidence. The way it stands, everyone who hates us prefers to ignore the procedure for getting officers in trouble, then they make stupid threads like this where everyone proves exactly how much they know about the PD (see: not knowing who chief is a month and a half after it was changed).

Traffic cops have 0 powers except ticketing and unticketing cars so the entry bar is much lower than normal cadets. It's pretty common to see them armed and riding with normal PD officers as meatsh- backup (sometimes they're useful, other times they're dumb and gay) but I'm not sure what they get up to *~unsupervised~*.

And yes, rather than endless gay threads without evidence or at the very least a name and specific incident lets start posting complaints with some actual substance for a change.
