Fishing
Many people do not know the advantages of fishing, and therefore decide not to do it, but those people are very misinformed and should be fishing whenever they are bored.
Fishing is a great way to make some quick cash and could yield you over 10,000 in under 10 minutes if you're lucky.
First, let's start off with how you fish:
1) Walk up really close to any body of water
2) Type /fish and wait
3) You should see a message pop up on the bottom center of your screen
4) As soon as this message pops up, right click your mouse (or if you have another button for that function, press it)
You will then receive a message describing your catch.
Now, all of the things that you can actually catch:
> Weapons (Very rare)
> Underwater Mine (Very rare)
> Beer (Rare)
> Money (Rare)
> Fish (Very Common)
> Pot (Rare)
> Crack (Very Rare)
All types of weapons can be caught, from canes to spasses, let's just hope you get lucky.
Underwater Mines blow up once caught and cause damage, this one might kill you.
Beer changes, if you catch a 6 pack with 3 cans open your screen will not shake, but if you catch a 6 pack with 6 cans open then you will be heavily intoxicated.
Money is rare and can come in forms of as little as $11 and as big as $1286.
Fish are almost always the things being caught, and will be listed later.
Pot and Crack come in small amounts of usually under 6, but there have been catchings of up to 8 pot and 7 crack.
Now, most of the time you will catch fish.
A list of fish you can catch in no particular order (Please tell me if I am missing any):
Also included in the list will be the general price of each fish
> Tuna
~ $3.00 per pound
> Red Snapper
~ $6.78 per pound
> Turtle
~ $20.60 per pound
> Eel
~ $19.00 per pound
> Dolphin
~ $14.61 per pound
> Whale
~ $24.59 per pound
> Sea Bass
~ $22.50 per pound
> Grouper
~ $6.60 per pound
> Trout
~ $11.00 per pound
> Swordfish
~ $6.50 per pound
> Catfish
~ $9.10 per pound
> Mackerel
~ $17.80 per pound
> Blue Marlin
~ $4.20 per pound
> Flying Fish
~ $21.00 per pound
> Pike
~ $18.11 per pound
These are all approximations
Now, there are only a couple of fish that should be kept, and those will be listed below:
* Turtle
* Dolphin
* Eel
* Whale
* Sea Bass
* Trout
* Mackerel
* Pike
* Flying Fish
Fishes under 30 pounds should generally not be kept, but if you're really low on cash then go for it.
A generally good way to make money is to fish around the Dropcar crane and selling fish that you catch, then dropcarring whenever you can, this will yield you quite a generous amount of money
Hope that helped everybody, so now you can choose whether to keep that fish or to throw it away.
~effort~
Thanks to John_Michaels for poopsocking the hell out of this with me

Re: Fishing
He said approximations.
Re: Fishing
just divide the amount of cash you get on the fish's weight
Example;
$1539 / 81 (pound) = $19.00
Example;
$1539 / 81 (pound) = $19.00

Re: Fishing
I think the time between catching and selling is also a factor.
