Add a /claim command to this new point system.
Bring back /claim on points for all ranks, with a time penalty for lower ranks please. This new system is pretty retarded with instant claims.
Or just bring back the old point system in general, I thought the old system was perfect and balanced.

I'm quite happy to put in a /claim command, however I believe most players are missing the main part of the new point system, whereby a leader can't claim when there is an enemy around the sub-point. You can work out the strategy based on this.

I think that everyone should be able to use a /claim. If the leaders don't trust them enough to run a point without them present, then they shouldn't even be in the family in the first place!

Goats sorta right. At some particular points, gangs with no guns but with lots of claimers, like daiki n soap who are always on together, run through the points and get claim. It was a 2 of us vs 3 of them, they had 2 claimers, we had only me. summary : a gang more with number of claimers have bigger chances of winning, even if they don't have a gun to actually go into a battle, all they'll do is claim the points which are temporarily abandoned. really not cool

pls back the point system used in fort carson aka one i to /claim all ranks and time penalty for lower ranks; that way people can't chickenrun win a point
edit: also for this "you can't claim while another gang is near the point" thing, the red message when someone tries to claim is there for a reason, and if the rival gang doesn't have a gun to kill the claimer, it's his fault for not bringing one to the point

This new point system involves strategies and tactics to just win em, and the whole objective is to have all 3 sub points claimed so that you can win. Also I like this new point system since it involves tactics and brains instead like the old one you just had to cover i and make sure they can't claim.

I honestly think that people just don't like putting effort into these new points, since you can't just camp and wait for someone to attack. For the new points, tactics and common sense have to be used, something many players lack on SZR.
There is a reason why the bigger games like Battlefield and Call of Duty have multiple points on a domination style map. Because with one, half of the people are just camping, and that gets old.
Obviously I don't know what it's like to fight in the new point system, but just hearing about it makes me want to try it out!

This new system takes no extra skill, tactics, or whatever to win, where did you come up with that crap Soaki? (<- Soap+Daiki since you two are attached at the hip you are now known as one entity named Soaki)
I honestly don't see how you can argue that instantly claiming is ok and tactful just because you can only do it when your enemies are like 20 meters away. When the old point system had the very same function but a /claim command that prevented zerg rushing claims.
To win at this current system with instant claims all you need is a fast car, tons of r5+, and everyone surfing on your car roof zerging each point with instant claims. Sure you *could* stand near the I to prevent a claim, but you will have a much higher chance of getting butt fucked because you can't run away for cover/help/heal or they will run over to the i and insta claim.
Bring back /claim for all ranks with longer /claim's for lower ranks, fast claims for high ranks.
With all the lag in samp and shit there is not a single good reason to let gangs chicken run over a small circle and instantly get a claim.

Yeah i like the idea of any rank can claim points but lower ranks get high penalties, such as something like this would be nice:
Rank 0 - 30 seconds to claim the point
Rank 1 - 20 seconds to claim
Rank 2 - 15 seconds
Rank 3 - 10 seconds
Rank 4 - 5 seconds
Rank 5 - 5 seconds
Rank 6 - 1 - 2 seconds

r0 can be used for whatever reason you want, it isn't necessarily a "punishment spot". Most gangs start people at r0 for a couple weeks, as a trial. I would be impressed if a r0 in my gang got off a 35s claim personally, that isn't easy to accomplish.

My point is that if someone is on trial, should they really have all of the commands/access that an actual member has? Take the police department/news team for example, rank 0 does not get guns/tazers/"/news", because they are still being tested for retardation.
Edit: Expanding on my reasoning, if you trusted a person enough to access the full commands of a member, they would already be above rank zero.

If you don't trust somebody enough to give him all the family commands then give him a gang chat number and trial him. You really shouldn't be comparing /claim with free guns, tazer or broadcasting free infinite shit, but i guess that's just your thinking.

any member can claim, the countdown for the claim varies from about 10 to about 40 seconds
rank 0 and rank 8+ have the maximum claim time
