Roots:It all technically started with the two Wilkson brothers and their crack-smoking shenanigans as they roamed around LS, barely surviving their encounters with the police and rival factions before leaving from loss of interest. And just like that, the first golden age of Grove had ended before it could really begin- before our beloved gangsters could really start making a name for themselves. It was then that our glorious leader Jon_Do stepped up and really started it, taking the reigns of the organization with an ambitious, militant fist. The rest is all old hat.
Grove had a motley assortment of OG's and reinvented its image over time, it had to change to fit in with the rest of the city. Now here we are settled into a fresh city- free of garbage. I am now aiming to step up and take charge, though I've never really had too much fame in the SZR history books that's just how I liked it. It would be foolish to promise Grove the power it once had, (the Great Deku Tree is there to remind us this lesson, after all) but I have faith in my experience and intuition to roll with what works and what doesn't.
Operation: It will be my goal to mix it up. We aren't a bunch of businessmen or politicians who commit drivebys in sportscars; we are THE miscreants of the city and plan on informing everyone we come across.
What separates us from the Ballas? Roleplay. I'd like to say here, infact, that I will be seeking an IC system to regularly communicate with the Ballas. We will be riding around with them and teaching them the ropes here and there in a "big-brother" sort of role. Any promising members are apt to be offered a spot in Grove and the rest are just fine repping the purple flag. This is a proven system if everyone is on track. No, we won't be using these araballas for death convoys - have a little faith, will ya?
