I don't 100% like the idea of diseases, because it would be gay in a firefight, you are lowered to 15% health, and you are running to the nearby resturant or vending machine, then you get hemophobia, get into the /drunk animation, and it delays you, then you die because you sanguinated. (Bled to death)

Another example, a bunch of DMers come to you in your car, it starts flaming and you /repair it, then you get cut by bent steel or something, you lose the rest of the health you have left over from the DMers shooting through your windscreen.

AIDS, trying to /sex someone during a pointwar or a DM encounter trying to get up your health, if you obtained this you would lose more health than what you gained.

Also, mass diarrhea, this is not good either, say in a pointwar, you don't like carrying drugs around so you carry fish instead, so you eat your 55 pound fish then get 30 second diarrhea, giving your enemies enough time you blast you to oblivion.

Keep that in mind.

Cramps
Cause: Eating 30 minutes before going in the water.
Effect: Makes you drown if you're in the water for over a minute.
Cure: Don't swim for 30 mins.

I agree, Just for the sake of people diving into the water to avoud getting killed/arrested.

Also, is it posiible to get damage from falling intothe water from a great enough height? So, for example jumping off the sanfierro bridge into the water would most likely kill you/ hurt you a lot.

I think it would be kinda neat to have contagious diseases. Although i fully expect it to be a bad idea, due to all the problems it would cause, the mass faggotry which would arise, and the probability of it being extremely difficult if not impossible to code.

But still, i think it would be funny to watch someone catch the disease, throw up, then the guy next to him.. then the guy next to him. Until everyone within a 10 foot radius of each other is laying on the floor groaning in a puddle of their own bile and faeces.

Points would be hilarious, you'd have diseased suicide bombers, kept at a distance from their gang members with long sticks, being thrust into the heat of battle to infect the enemy.

As for a GOOD idea, the whole cramps thing to kill people swimming away to avoid death or arrest is a great idea. But the only thing is, theres no guarantee that they would have eaten 30 minutes before the said escape. I guess its pretty likely, and you could extend it to smoking pot, getting laid etc. Anything which bumps up your health.

Maybe a random shark attack or something? Swimming for longer than say a minute, provided you aren't a police officer or FBI and the such (if its possible for SAMP to make the distinction), automatically savages you to death.

And people in legitimate situations, crashing a plane into the sea for example would have the option of logging, saving themselves without it being deemed a warnable/bannable offence.

Or instead of a shark attack, seaturtlerape.

This thread is great hope the diseases can be implemented into the game. It would be good though if there aren't too many diseases since then you would catch a disease every time you do something, even worse if the diseases could spread. LOL.

PS: the diseases could be listed in the help menu to help newbies.

What's the point of this if the player could just log out and then log back in and be healthy again? It doesn't make much sense unless you put a time limit on that player and they have to play until there time is up.


Example



I got one of these sicknesses and i have to play for about 20 minuets till the cold wears off. I play for about 5 minutes and then log off, the timer stops until i log back in and complete the rest of the 20 minuets, therefore i log back in and the the timer continues were it left off until the 20 minuets are up, then i can be healthy again, and some of these sicknesses should be contagious to make it even more fun :)
