SZR GTA

Me and couple of my friends have an issue where samp crashes periodically.. at first I ignored it and just rebooted, however when it happens during a point battle..IT CAN PISS A GUY OFF!! lol Anyways, can anybody tell me if there is a download or something that fixes that, or is it a case of a bad samp file? I got it off the samp page if that helps?

Do you have any mods? If not set the Compatibility Mode to Windows 98/Me. It helped me.

Make sure none from your family, or the people that are around you dont have mods installed

try reinstalling GTA: San Andreas and SA-MP.

try deleting the settings files in your documents folder before reinstalling stuff

There's a 50% chance my game crashes while driving past an escalator. Don't know whether that's relevant here

I don't use any mods.. Ari told me it isn't a good idea so I don't. I will uninstall and reinstall and see if that helps.

I had the same problem, but I crashed in every 10 minutes. I re-installed GTA and samp, now it works fine.

X fire can crash your game alot, do you use anything like that? Just a suggestion

Try deleting your settings. Go to My Documents\Gta San Andreas User files and delete the file named gta_sa.set. Note: you will have to re-set your controls in the "define controls" menu.
