"Well, back in 'nam," I muttered, taking a sip from my coffee as I paused, "there were over 50,000 men who died in that war. You know how many of my troop died in that war? None. But there's a reason for that."
I looked down at the medal that sat in a small glass case.
"It's because General Bankwell never failed his troop. I was one of the sickest to go into that war, and the sickest to walk out. I have the blood of at least a hundred Vietnamese on my hand, whether they were innocent, or guilty. I came out a war hero, and so did my troops, and that's why I have the medal of honor."
I took a cigar from my pocket, and put it in my mouth. I lit the cigar, puffed it, and took it away.
"That was years ago... many years ago. But the picture, it never completely stays out of my head. I suffer from post dramatic stress syndrome, and so do many other who survived. Sometimes, sometimes it still feels like I'm back in 'Nam. I can't tell you how many times I've ran en route to my neighbors house, because I heard a tick. It's some crazy shit..."
I took another puff from my cigar, put the medal down, off of my lap.
"Us vets, we never fully recovered. We still see the war vehicles driving down the road, we still hear the gun shots, and the explosions. But why can we still live with ourselves... it's because we have each other... we still stand as one troop. Veteran Troop Los Santos."
(( I feel like I've done a lot in SZR. I've been a cop, I've been in plenty of different families, had my fair share of run ins and rping experiences all over the place, and multiple times have I held LT possitions in families, such as Dillimore Cobras and 36th Street Relatives. I think it's time I take a step forward, and put myself in command of a family. It'd be a good chance to do something constructive for the server, and try to contribute the best roleplaying I can. I can't promise a gang fun packed with roleplay out the asshole everyday, because every gang that promises that may do it, but stop when they're accepted. All I can say is I will try to make a positive impact, whether it's helping noobs, running a good gang, or showing roleplaying examples. ))
