Re: Remove job levels
or keep contract timer as is and just reduce the job level by 1 whenever someone quits a job

Re: Remove job levels
Leveling skills is just painful, I like this idea.
Re: Remove job levels

Re: Remove job levels
sad to say i don't like this idea, by starting everyone at level 5 that takes out a big part of the game ( leveling up your skills ) and i think four hours for contract time is too long to have to keep a job.

Re: Remove job levels
It's a pain to level up, but as Mike said, it takes away a part of the game, I mean, instead of level 5, maybe you could reduce the amount of things you have to do to get to level 5, because it is so high, it is impossible to get level 5 sex and other things.

Agreeing with this. I honestly think I would stop playing with either of the first two suggestions.mike_mocanu wrote:sad to say i don't like this idea, by starting everyone at level 5 that takes out a big part of the game ( leveling up your skills ) and i think four hours for contract time is too long to have to keep a job.
Re: Remove job levels
if you're not already aware of this lawyers can get rid of your job contract
Re: Remove job levels
Don't give up on this just yet.
Everyone starts with level 5 in all jobs ( not activities )
60 minute contract time ( lawyers can reduce this )
You can /quitjob at any time, but if you do this before the 60 minute contract time, that job level goes down... depends on job contract time remaining
45-60 minutes left = down to level 1
30-45 minutes left level 2
15-30 minutes left level 3
1-15 minutes left level 4
Any job skill you have will be increased by one full level when you complete an hour contract.

Re: Remove job levels
once they switch back to the job, they'd be dropped to level 4 from level 5 (for instance) and then they have to work their way back up to level 5Rachael wrote:when does it go up again?Chris Hansen wrote:or keep contract timer as is and just reduce the job level by 1 whenever someone quits a job

Re: Remove job levels
I know there's nothing i can do about it but i really don't like these ideas...
gaining a level for fullfilling a 1 hour contract means if you spend enough time on it, you could easily reach level 5 in at least 2 jobs in ONE day, which to me at least seems like way too little time.
I do like the idea that it drops a level if you quit early.
Still against starting at 5 because like i said, it takes out a big part of the game, and might be just me but i like that if i have nothing to do i can go level up my jobs, and i also like that its difficult and takes time, keeps you busy and not bored.
well thats my thoughts on this

Re: Remove job levels
This idea will take all the poopsock away dudes.
Anyway start being cool and make the things depend on the things you do, not on the time you spend on them.
For example: Wheelman fixes 5 cars then quits....... x levels down
