IC part.
The Yakuza

Starting in the early 90's, Wu Zi was a gambler back in Tokyo, Japan. Only 20 years old, he got into the shrouded scene of illegal gambling competitions during late nights. Hoping to
make the big cut in order to move out. Having grown up with a typical japanese family, a father who was a businessman, a loving mother who took care of the family no matter what, Wu felt obligated to make his family proud by finally getting somewhere.

So one late friday night Wu hit up the Shibuya district in downtown Tokyo, hoping to catch the chance to do some good for himself. Without being aware of the increased activity of mobsters planning to hit the local clubs to extort the owners for protection money. Whish was a very common thing during these years however new for Wu, whom had always seemed to get away from trouble at the very last minute. Not knowing anything better, Wu eventually ended up in the backroom of the hottest nightclub in the district. As his cousins Sadoa and Itachi had informed him earlier, there was to be a big night with high amounts of yen floating around.

Greedy for luck and fortune, Wu managed to buy himself a spot at the table. Which was located in a very dark room, much darker than any other room he had gambled in, the air filled with all kinds of scents with the smell of a fresh lotus-flower located in the far corner making up for most of it. Around the table was all kinds of persons, notably two men wearing black suits and tinted sunglasses to hide their eyes. So the game begun, the amount to play was already lot higher than usual, a minimum of 25 000 yens was required to even participate. Wu, eager as he was,
felt pressured and a bit uncertain with the whole thing. But as the men in the room clearly would be offended by leaving, as per customs in Japan, Wu went ahead. The money was actually a loan, drug-money, that had been passed on to Wu just before entering by a small man inside the club.

The night went on, luck seemed to favour Wu and his hand got better for each draw it seemed. Eager to cash in the jackpot, Wu went all in on the final round. The pressure rose and the whole round felt as if it was taking forever. So comes the final moment everyone had waited on, Wu had played his final card and felt certain he would win. At this moment, the men in suits looked at each other, revealing a small grin from their otherwise emotionless faces. The game was over, Wu had lost a quarter of a millon yen over only a few hours.

Feeling as if his whole world was collapsing on him, he stumbled out of the room and into the club. He was met by Sadoa and Itachi by the bar, clearly noticing something was wrong. Wu felt a big knot inside his chest, but eventually told what had happened. Now all three were standing there, staring out over the dancefloor filled with regular japanese people with a few tourists grouped in the corner. None knew what was going to happen next.

Then just as the three were about to head out of the door, the small man who had handed over the briefcase earlier approaced Wu, noticing the frown upon Wu's face. He mentioned that wealth and fortune does not happen over night, but the debt must be settled. Wu now completely broke needed to find a way to make all of this right. The small man smiled, pointing at the empty table in the corner. They sat down, Wu between his two cousins facing the mysterious man. After a small conversation, it was clear that the money Wu had been given was in fact connected to drugs which flows freely throughout the nightclubs of Japan. Before anyone was given a chance
to question the outcome of this night. The three cousins were offered a way to make a menace, to repay the large debt they had found themselves in. They were to leave the country on a plane destined for Los Santos the next morning. No other info was given than to contact the local Teahouse and ask to speak to the manager.

Stumbling home through the night, the cousins was skeptic to the whole idea but since they had always had stuck together throughout their upbringing, they decided to follow the instructions.

The next day, after landing at the Los Santos airport and taking a taxi to this Teahouse, they quickly realized that the employees were Japanese. They got out of the car, not owning anything else than what they were wearing at the time. They asked the first employee they could find about the meeting. They were already expected inside and their lives would come to change forever.

The ritual had already been prepared, the cousins swore an oath to be loyal and act with respect. They were now a part of the Yamaguchi-gumi corporation in Los Santos, which among the public is known as the Yakuza. Working their way up, they had now begun selling the one thing which had gotten them to this part of the world, drugs. Wu, already setting his eyes on sportscars, aimed to earn enough to finally buy himself that new Sultan he had seen in Tokyo a year ago. While Sadoa and Itachi mainly focused on keeping an eye out for any trouble that could occur along the road.

Years later, the cousins had worked their way inside the corporation and had become respectful members of the community. They were no longer looked down on but respected for their hard work and eagerness to perform their duties as accepted soldiers in the Yakuza. Time was limited however, since the local streetgangs of Los Santos had been watching the Yakuza become stronger from afar, fearing that their territory would soon be overrun and taken over by the japanese community. They started working together, getting themselves armed to the teeth ready to take down this ancient dragon that had erupted on their own soil. Wars broke out, though seeming endless at points, they eventually ended and the Yakuza had won.

The Yakuza was no longer a minor organisation in Los Santos, throughout trafficking of not just drugs but also weapons and illegal carparts. The corporation had now made a steady income and was quickly becoming stronger by each day that went by. The local police department had taken notice and tried to break up the corporation from within, infiltrating it to try and get the names of the leaders in charge.
The spies were quickly found however and were never to be seen again.

At this time, the three soldiers had now shown so much effort that they were each given a new role within the corporation, each with it's own responsibilities and duties.
The debt had already been paid off in both blood, sweat and money, but the cousins felt obligated to stay to honor their heritage and dedication. The corporation suffered a major blow when the current Oyabun seemed to disappear out of nowhere. The rumours were many, but the few stories that circled were all just ideas of what had really happened.

The cousins now consulted the others who were in charge, together they decided to move the headquarter to a more subtle place, laying low on the trafficking and focusing on cars. All in all, smuggling was still being made, but it was now placed within hidden spaces of the vehicles and could run freely over the state-borders. The corporation finally moved out to Blueberry, a small town outside Los Santos, which served as a smuggler's haven to ship things into the famous city of Las Venturas.

It was now time for a fresh start for the corporation, as the three cousins became the three leaders of the Yakuza. Wu as the new Oyabun with his two faithful and loyal cousins at his side, plans for a move to the dense city of San Fierro had already been discussed before, but Blueberry had potential at the moment.

Other gangs shortly followed in the steps, wanting a piece of the wealth of this newly found business-oppurtunity, smaller fights occured left and right, over territory or supplies which is scarce at these locations. The Teahouse had been exchanged for a Dojo, with a local modshop nearby, the ability to smuggle through the use of cars was quickly developed into a big industry and the corporation once again flourished.

Rules
Well if you're wondering what the rules of a faction might be, this isn't the right place for you.

Why?
We have shown the server that we deserve the slot, have contributed bringing events and so on, have interacted with other factions and tried to Role Play as much as we can. We want to continue what we've started, improve the faction more and with the three leaders, Sadoa, Wu Zi and Myself, we will maintain this faction and keep it at its best.
