gun drops on death were terrible yeah, but guns dropping when you /dump gun would be useful.

They don't like gun drops because then there's a disadvantage to using big guns like spas12. I personally find it makes things balanced.

gun drops cause unwanted dm. people recycle guns so hardly anyone matruns. less fbalance reward so no point of getting points. more mats stored and not used. etc. its a matter of opinion i guess if you like it or not. honestly if you lose a spas you have to buy or run mats for another instead of yelling at people to get your spas back. so something to use your poopsock money on and gangs run out of mats quicker so they buy them from newbies who need the money. keeps things more entertaining and balanced.

It may be annoying but it gives you something to do after the points over. Also I'm pretty sure admins started jailing civs that interfered at point wars, so not really a valid complaint.

Gun drops also add a little depth to combat as someone dying with a spas12 and losing it to the enemy can really turn the tides in battle. And on the other end of it, picking up your fallen ally's weapon and killing his murderer with it is also pretty darn cool.

one way I think the swarm of civillians hanging around gun fights could be stopped is to set up a system to prioritize pickups. it would detect the killer and allow access to them and their associates; factions and "civillian" gangs using /g.
