Points, capture the flag system
Well I came up with the idea to spice up the points a bit so there'll actually be people coming up with tactics n shit.

Explanation of the system variation 1:
1. Apickup becomes vulnerable
2. Team A claims the flag with /claimflag
3. The flagclaimer will get a message above his head like AFK but then with FLAG
4. Team A tries to escort the flagholder to Adropoff while team B tries to kill the flag holder
5.1 If the flagholder dies, the flag will return to Apickup
5.2 If the flagholder delivers, team A will have Apickup

Why would this be a fun system?
You're now protecting your flagholder with all your men and that requires some damn good tactics which makes it alot harder.
Vehicles will get involved, now your team will not longer rely on their laggshoot skills but also on their driving skills.
Explanation 2, will set the vulnerability times set, so people will know when to come online, which makes it alot busier at points.

This wouldn't really work because:
Airplanes, helicopters, boats, fast cars, multiple gangs, lag abuse, water eluding and a bunch of stupid shit. I don't see the point of this anyway.

At first I thought the idea was amazing and would of loved it to implimented..
But I spectated a point today and I was getting in alot of crossfire, imagine if a civilian just randomly got shotup and died in crossfire losing all his mats+weapons...
It'd just cause mayhem because the civilian would need a refund, or the big chase leads right through the middle of a RP scene spoiling the whole thing
It'd be good if they all got tele'd to like San Fierro and did their or something, but not in Los Santos where people are attempting to RP and stuff

This would be pretty cool. You could be RPing, and have a massive car chase go past you, with people hangin out the window, and shooting and shit. It would add more character to the city, not just one little place where people are dying over and over.

Yeah this sounds cool, Flagholder can't enter planes or choppers, problem solved. Even if the flagholder can enter a chopper or plane, it's a two way street and it's based on points so anyone can do it. Just don't bring a sword to a gun fight man up!!!
Why would a virtual world be so terrible? There would have to be a marker system for the flagholder though, and marking systems are extremely buggy as it is.
Idea is excellent because capture the flag is cool, but the potential for bugs is high.

this would play hell with all the rules we have about points like no cops and no civs. putting it in a virtual world is silly, why not just play on a DM server with a dedicated CTF mode then? if this is going to work the flag capping and delivering will need a timer so if the enemy gang is camping the point ahead of you, you can't just run in and drop it off with your AHK script.

i don't get the roleplay rationale behind this. yes, standing some place for 15 seconds without dying and then preventing anyone else from standing at that place for 10 minutes in order to gain ownership of a material factory is arbitrary and somewhat ridiculous, but this seems even more so.

It would make points worse (I can't vote, I think almost no one can due to forum poll permissions)
It'll require one to grab a vehicle as soon as he spawns, to go to the flagholder and delay him. This doesn't bring more strategy, action or teamplay. The points as they are do. You know where and you know what your enemy might do, so you discuss tactics, enhancing them afterwards for the next time. It's better.
A CTF kinda thing is fun for server events.

I can already picture all the desynced laggers chicken running all over the town and the time it would take to make this a somewhat perfect system and CTF is a fun mode but definitely not for samp. If you feel like making any changes to the current point system, lower the claiming time to 10 seconds.
