Auto hot key error in need of assistance plox!

So i was fucking around with my scrip last night and i was trying to set some shit to one of my mouse buttons it din't work so i fucked off.

Turn on my computer today try to start up The AutoHotkey program and this keep's turning up.



Dos anyone know how i can access the scrip to remove it so that i can actually start the program?

No my problem right now is that i can't even get to the script the program won't start up so i cant get to the script. i even tried re-installing it dint work.

Same happened me. but you can create a new script look go to AHK folder then go to autoscriptwriter folder and after that go autoscriptwriter and create a new one

Or just rightclick > new > autohotkey script?

Anyways, rightclick autohotkey.ahk and open it with notepad, you don't need a autohotkey editor, it's primarily for advanced scripts etc.

If it doesn't help then.. I'll probably be on mumble tomorrow

1 .Start up AHK (it will probably say the error and that the script wont load blah blah blah).
2. Go to the bottom right of your screen and right click on the AHK icon, and select "Edit script"
3. Make the changes and go file->save.
Done!

i just right click my script.ahk and edit with notepad ++, but notepad would pretty much work the same
i don't need to run AHK to edit/write a script, only to run it

No you guys aren't understanding my problem because of this error (as shown in the picture above) i cannot access the program at all it just exits it right away, so i can't do the obvious thing of right clicking the icon in the icon bar.

As I understood it, it was a script error. From what you describe, it seems to be a program error and you should try uninstalling and reinstalling the whole program.

Your problem can be fixed by doing what the other guy said, by right clicking on the file itself and choosing the "edit" button. In the directory "Libraries\Documents" (assuming you are on windows 7, if not it's just in My Doccuments on all versions), you should find the default script named "AutoHotkey.ahk". Right click on that and choose "edit script", and fix the broken code. If you can't figure out how to fix it, post the code here and I will gladly look it over.
