News Team Department Radio?
I think we should link the news team up with /d. So they can talk to the police in situations, maybe they see a suspect, or they're flying overhead with a chopper, or If they just plain see something? I think a news team with /d would be a good idea.

The inter-department radio is a government frequency. The news team is just a commercial business, and therefore seems unfitting. Maybe access to their 911 calls or something like that would be nice.
Edit: I'm hijacking this thread kind of.
What if you introduced police scanners? For maybe $10,000 or $15,000, you could tap into the police radio. You obviously wouldn't be able to say anything, but you could still get an idea of what is going on. And to implement it with the news team, you could possibly have high rank news reporters spawn with them, or even "install" it into the news chopper.

If news where in /d then they could see our chat to the FBI which is what i believe the whole thing is for so letting them in /d is very similar to letting them into /r (which is also a bad idea, we cant hack into /f)

Why shouldn't we be able to see in /r? People listen into police radios all day.
