Unfair Ban

Hello, today i was banned because of me and my friends was shooting at a guy from a rooftop.
And a while later admin took me in to a room and asked me if it was true.
So i lied and declined it, then my friend came into us, and she got a reward because she told the truth from the begining.
I also told the truth but not from the start, so I got banned.
I think It is unfair, after all this is a roleplay server and we made a planed murder, isn't that roleplay?
It was not of character and it was not deathmatching, we had a reason.
He killed us before and we did'nt forgot about it.
