2x+3=9

first you subtract 3 from 3
then you have to do it to the other side, and subtract 3 from 9
so the 3 dissapears and the 9 turns into a 6

2x+=6

then you have the divide 2 by 2
then divide 6 by 2

6 divide by 2 is 3

X = 3

am i doing it right??

Given the points P(2,3) and Q(4, -1), Find:
--->
(a) PQ
---->
(B) lPQl

(c) Find a vector and parametric equation of the line through P and parallel to line L:3x-27=12.

Usually vectors have 3 parts, don't they? Maybe it's just the way I've learned it. eg ( 1, 3, -2 )

Look at the equation differently. Imagine that the numbers can be taken from one side to another. When they move to the opposite side, their sign changes.
Example . 2x + 4 = 10, you wana take 4 to the other side, so you do this, and you change its sign. 2x = 10 -4 , then you get 2x = 6 and 10-4 is 6.

Now for coefficients, which is '2' in the example above. You can only move Coefficients to the other side, and it becomes an inverse of what it was.

This is Wrong : Attempting to take 2 to the other side when you have 2x + 4 = 10 ====> x + 4 = 10/2 . This is incorrect.

First, you move everything to the left, and then you move the '2' to the other side, making it an inverse. First : 2x = 10 -4 ===> 2x = 6 , and then move x so equation becomes x= 6/2. Which then x = 3.

A tougher example. Lets say you have 10x + 15y + 200 = 300.

You want to rearrange so everything will be equated to x.
First, you move everything to the right, and change their signs. 10x = 300 - 200 - 15y

Then, you move 10 to the otherside. Here is whats important. When your moving 10 to the other side, your dividing everything on the right hand side by 10, so you must show this in the correct way.

Which is : x = ( 300 - 200 - 15y ) / 10 or x = ( 100 - 15y) / 10 or x = 100/10 - 15y/10 ======> x = 10 - 1.5y

That's basically it. Hope this helps

Two points on line L are P1(0,−6) and P2(4, 0). So the line through P is

---->
<x − 2; y − 3> = tP1P2;
i.e.
<x − 2; y − 3>= t<4, 6> = <4t; 6t>.
A parametric equation is
x = 4t + 2
y = 6t + 3

You got (a) and (b) right.

wrong it can't be a constant because no bond or stock is exactly alike due to maturity and inflation rates as well as market-economy fluctuation

learn to read a fucking book instead of google

'The number 42 is, in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, "The Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything", and is calculated by an enormous supercomputer over a period of 7.5 million years to be 42. Unfortunately no one knows what the question is.'

I think Jar Jar is the most important plot device that Lucas could have ever used. Jar Jar really brought the Star Wars Saga to an entirely new height.

A long time ago in a forum far, far away....

SZR WARS

Episode 1
The silver menace

Silver has engulfed the SZR republic. The algebraic discussion of vector routes to outlying solutions of systems is in dispute.

Hoping to resolve the matter with a solution of deadly mathematical equations, the greedy federation of Russian administrators has stopped all shipping of fun to the small community of SZR forums.

While the players of the SZR Republic endlessly debates this alarming chain of events, The supreme chancellor has secretly dispatched two players of roles, the guardians of E-coping and E-sexing in the GTA, to settle the conflict...
