There has to be more than that. Maybe it's because everytime they take a look at the "real" SZR, they see very, very low population. Ranging from 0-5, there for the server population on the spin-off satisfy them and makes them want to play more on that server. It's simple logic, but yet tragic.

I'll suggest the same thing as I suggested a few months ago.

If you want to get real, you need to get Los Santos real, you need to build a real community, and a real team.

It's easy to misunderstand my words. I'm not saying SZR's community sucks, you won't find another community like SZR. We're unique in many ways. I wouldn't play in other servers. We're a "funny" community.

I see a few players on, but I rarely see the big stars.

How would we build our community again?

Gangs: I'd suggest two mods starting a gang each. If they're mods, then we can trust them to lead by example and contribute to the community by being active, not saying to no life it up. Loosen up a little and give active players a chance to join the high ranks of the gang. They'll fuck up here and there, but everything takes practice. We need to invest on our next generation.

News & PD: Same, lead by admin/mod, but having them being active. Have someone organizing the PD recruitment section and deny or approve applications on a shorter period of time. The more active the forum is, the more we make this community active. Have a small PD & News team, but have them contribute to the server. We could train the small PD group by having them add RP to the server instead of driving around all day.

Sounds like a lot of effort by the shot callers of this community, but that's what shot callers do.

okay as far as seriousposting goes, i'd like to say a few things.

coming back and seeing dom and alex davis as admins (no clue which packages you two have) does not surprise me since rachael needed someone to run the show with her, my only concern is; when will dom gets bored of his infernus and magically disappear? or when will alex davis get tired of killing 14 year old scrubs and go back to FPS?

ive personally just been lurking around randomly shitposting and haven't bothered playing the game for more than 2 hours, because im not a fan of szr's current state, in fact i hate it. seeing what people has to say on the forums and the server itself only having 0-5 players on at all time, pretty much tells me rachael hasn't thought this through or even built up a solid foundation before starting her project. everything looks unorganized from the outside.

szr has pretty much become worse since mkr's era. his script was turning into an amazing, unique and bugfree gamemode, i've yet to find a better script on other samp servers. if he was still scripting we would have had a whole different level system, tutorial and a bunch of other stuff im too lazy to write about. unfortunately his era didn't last long because he didn't have anything/anyone to back his script up with. he couldn't put together a solid staff, one reason was because the old bigmins weren't around, all he was left with was a bunch of boys with powers (which is basically whats going on right now) doing nothing, which ended with drama and trust issues.

i bet everyone thought szr would turn golden when rachael reset to her script after being dead for a few weeks, that the spinoff server would die out and everyone would come back and praise RACHAEL THE QUEEN OF THE NILE, but noup. szr is worse than before and if it continues like this nothing will happen. i would honestly do anything to have mkr back scripting and working together with rachael with a good team, but im 100percent sure that won't happen unless someone takes a plane to ohio and kidnap him.

but what bother me the most is that rachael (or anyone from the current staff) hasn't made a single thread about szr's future plans, no announcements. everything has been about patching and bug fixing. don't disappoint me and don't let this be a flashback from your previous era, rachael.

i suppose i'll throw a serious post in as well seeing as everybody else is (for some reason).

future plans of szr? there really aren't many - yet. rachael has given me leetmin and free reign to kind of do what i please as far as adminning goes and i've formed a general crew of admins / mods after running names by her. I have intentions of bringing SZR back from shitlandRP to an actual roleplay server with people PLAYING TOGETHER AND NOT CONSTANTLY SHOOTING EACHOTHER. i will write up some common roleplay rules to go by at first and later on, depending on the community, possibly push it further past a simple roleplay server. Rachael is coding what she can in her spare time and i am also doing this while working near 70 hours every week.
as far as the other server having more players than us, it's because people actually think it's the real server - i have no clue who's on the server or who runs it but they're probably gay and non-english anyways.

protip: wanna see something cool in game? SUGGEST IT. rachael is a good coder and can usually make shit work if she wants to. she'll add almost anything as long as it's not super gay and / or superbly non roleplay.

if you want to play a role in a gang, let me know. i'll probably give you a gang and some cars and shit if you're not a complete retard.
