As you can see in the pics, it has been resetting for me. Every time I grab a new job, it goes back to 1 and with arms deal it goes to 6. Any help would be nice. I managed to get the merc job to lvl 6 and wheelman to 5.

dont forget the skill system has changed, they go down when you dont use them.

it works something like this:

You get mechanic job, lvl it up to 5...
change to arms job, and lvl it to 2, that mean mechanic skill will get down to 4, every job you lvl up this happen.

there is a way, stay at any job you want for 999999999999999999999999999999999 hours (play a lot of time without quit your job)
and them change it, and keep changing jobs to stay with a higher lvl that the most of jobs you use.
