CONTESTANTS WILL COMPETE IN A TOURNAMENT-STYLE CONTEST WHERE ONLY ONE CAN BE INDEBTED IN THE END WITH A TAXI LICENSE!!!



Judged by current taxi members, applicants will be given a score based on their completion of each event in a series, and whomever possesses the highest score by the end will be made taxi until they screw it up.



Enjoy seeing your favourite hopefuls in events such as the double-bus pull, the over-a-roof jump, and the material runner wham-bam-thank-you-maam!

Root for your friends as they show off their driving skill, their patience, and their inevitable frustrated tempertantrum abilities!




Please submit all applications here, with the same brief introduction you would otherwise. Contestants must apply by Wednesday May 14.

Due to overwhelming demand, restrictions may be made to the number of potential applications accepted for the contest. In this instance, potential candidates will be selected by members of SANews as deemed valuable to ratings.

Coverage of the contest may or may not be recorded by SANews.

Taxi Team takes no personal resposbility for the safety or financial stability of its applicants. Contest rules and regulations may be subject to change at any time. Eventual taxi membership is--as always--dependant on a driver not being a jerk.

a) hello so far the taxis have been a great help to me in getting me around the city and saving my life so this would be my chance to give something back to the community, and put smiles on the faces of people at the noob spawn who just got out of the hospital after dying of the clap

b)i have been a wheelman the whole time i am here except for once when i tried being a gun dealer and got sent to jail for 1200 seconds by some assbeef therefore i know how to /repair and /refill cars like a champ

c) i drove to los santos from librety city across america and the distance is 2780.82 miles (THANKS MAPQUEST) and if you consider that in major league baseball the distance from the pitcher's mound to home plate is 60 feet 6 inches (THANKS MEASURING TAPE) aka 726 inches (THANKS CALCULATOR) aka 0.0114583333 miles which goes into 2780.82 miles 242689.746 times (THANKS AGAIN CALCULATOR) meaning my trip was the equivalent of that many pitches AKA i am the randy johnson of driving

I would like to apply to participating in this brand new Los Santos sensation! I love driving around , chating with people, the color yellow and pizza. Why do I want to be a cab driver? Simple really- Taxis provide people with transportation and if there's one thing I hate is being stranded in the countryside while no friendly yellow cars are on duty I am on a mission to make sure everyone has experienced the warmth of a cab!
In other words help achieve this on many streets

What to say what to say... Hrm... I do indeed wish to be the next Top Taxi of America. Sai comes from a long line of shady characters. And if that isn't proof enough of my eligibility, I have been a Wheelman for some months now and have had plenty of time learn the cities and perfect my driving technique! /repair is second nature! (( Lv 5 Wheelman means never having to worry about gas, even with the current crisis! Its every American's god given right to burn through thousands and thousands of gallons per day! That and half the time my car is fueled from the blood of those dumb enough to stand in the way of my vehicle and my destination. Happens quite often, I assure you. )) Not rain, not snow, not hail, not babies crawling in the road, not even a tank could stop me from getting to my destination in a timely and quite enjoyable fashion! I believe that a Taxi driver's duty is not only that of getting a fare to a location specified in a timely and enjoyable manner, preferably alive, but also a population control service.
