I've set up a brand new fancypants bug tracker (it's trac, for the interested) that will allow us to keep track of issues much more efficiently, and it integrates with our source repository which is pretty nifty.

Only create tickets after the issue has been discussed in this forum
Write in full sentences using correct english spelling and grammar.
Use your forums name for the 'reporter' field
That's actually pretty much it. Just don't go hog wild.
