It's prolly been said already, but how about a Medic put in the job pull of Armsdealer,Drugdealer,Lawyer etc.....
I know there are plenty of Sprunk machines and the fast food places, but it would still be convenient to have a medic just on call near a point battle or just cruising around the town.
I do think there is a medic job, buts it's like taxi if im right. You have to apply, but I havnt heard anything about it that im aware. Mabey just a switch.

Keep the faction small. It does add to the enhancement of role play. Have something similar to the PD armor icon for going on and off duty. The medic room from the City Planning Building in LV could be used as an interior at the hospital. Spawn at the General Hospital, and have a couple of ambulances, and a fire engine at each hospital. Place a Raindance and Leviathan helicopter at each hospital. Only rank 4 and higher may use the fire engine, and rank 3 and higher may use the helicopters. Have an application process similar to that of the PD to keep out the faggy type of players.

Simple rules:
1. If the PD or FBI requests for your medical assistance at an operation or normal patrol, please attend to their needs.
2. Respect members of the PD, and FBI.
3. No guns allowed for Fire/EMS to carry. Fire extinguisher or spray can only.
4. You aren't PD, if there is a crime scene, or heavy/bad situation, call for assistance from your department radio and let the PD respond to it.
5. Do not interfere with point battles, or at least have the ambulance parked a couple of blocks away. No fighting at the ambulance. Violation of this rule is automatic termination from the faction, and perhaps a week ban or banishment. Actually this should be rule number 1.
6. During gang fights etc. police would have to secure the scene before medics can treat the wounded, they would have to stage a safe distance away as they would IRL.
When players die, they will /lay for 60 seconds or some suitable amount of time, until a medic arrives. Or they can /acceptdeath or something to just kill themselves. and suffer the current death penalty. And when they are low on health they can /call 911 and choose the paramedic option.
/heal should cost $1000, which is double the current hospital bill. That money would go to the medic. As it is now the medic could charge what ever he wants without the "victim" having any choice in the matter.
/cure should cost a bit more than it does if you go to the hospital to cure std's. Or by being transported to the hospital by ambulance it slows the disease down so that a player has more time to /cure himself at the hospital.
Add a /rescue command, For when the medic is in the helicopter, and he/she rescues someone by throwing down a ladder, they can put him/her into the helicopter. Exactly the same as the /detain command for the PD, except message might say "<Name> rescued <Name> by hoisting him up the helicopter"
Each rank could have different commands available similar to the news. Rank 1 can only /heal in the ambulance. Rank 2 and above can /heal in ambulance and helicopter, Rank 3 and above can /heal on foot etc.
